Previous actresses Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander have also portrayed Lara Croft in movies, and Sophie is eager to follow their path. She is particularly looking forward to collaborating with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the show's creator, writer, and co-showrunner.
Phoebe, aged 40, shared her enthusiasm for the project, saying, "I'm so excited to announce the formidable Sophie Turner as our Lara alongside this phenomenal creative team. Everyone on board is wildly passionate about Lara and are all as outrageous, brave, and hilarious as she is. Get your artifacts out — Croft is coming."
Moreover, Sophie recently disclosed that filming Trust was a "super cathartic" experience for her. Despite facing challenges in her personal life, Sophie found solace in immersing herself in the film's production and enjoyed the opportunity to unleash her emotions on screen.
